Insomniac Games took to the PS5 showcase last night to bring us some gameplay from Spider-Man: Miles Morales as well as a launch date reveal. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be dropping as a launch title for the PS5 this November.
The gameplay trailer shows us a slice of Miles dealing with the fallout from the shady faction called The Underground, a high-tech criminal army led by The Tinkerer clashing with Roxxon a “devious energy company”. Unsurprisingly the web-swinging goodness of the original game is still here, with Miles bringing his added tricks of stealth and shock powers. The cinematic moments are also here in full strength as we watch Miles save civilians from a collapsing bridge.
Insomniac Games also announced 2 versions of the title would be coming out. The Standard Edition contains just the game, while the Ultimate Edition features the game and comes with a download code for Marvel’s Spider-Man remastered, featuring a PS5 version of the original game. Thanks to Geoff Keighley over on Twitter, we also know that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is coming to PS4 this November for those who aren’t able to upgrade right away.
