Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon – This is Exactly What the 80s Were Like Kids

A Neon Rainbow of 80's Action

It’s the 80s, but it’s also the future. The year is 2007, and you are Sergeant Rex Power Colt, Mark IV Cyber Commando. Your job: deliver hot-pink neon death to the rogue cyborg army that’s reshaping the world into cyber hell. Or something like that, it’s been really hard tracking down a VCR so you can actually listen to your mission briefing.

I’ll admit, I’ve been remiss in keeping you guys posted on what could quite possibly be the most awesome thing to happen to the 80s after they ended, so for that, I apologize. I’ll do my best to make it up to you though, starting with the latest bit of info that the soundtrack for the game, made entirely by Power Glove, will be included with all digital preorders, or available separately for roughly 8 pounds of what passes for money in the post-nuclear wasteland.

I’ll just remind you guys that despite the Far Cry 3 in the title, the game is fully stand-alone, costs $15, and will be all the 80s you could possibly need in one sitting of pure awesome. It’s out on May 1st. Be there or be square.
