The Playstation 5 Showcase showed us a small slice of Hogwarts Legacy giving us just 2 minutes and 41 seconds to get us excited for the upcoming Avalanche & Warner Bros game, and there’s so much going on that we honestly couldn’t narrow down what we wanted to put in the title for the game. Showing us shots of Hogwarts ranging from the sorting hat and the great hall, to the common rooms and lessons. The school looks fantastic and given the open-world nature of the game exploring it is going to be a delight for all fans of the game, things did not stop there though.

Personally, I was happy with the idea that Hogwarts Legacy was an open-world game focused on the school, lessons, diagon alley, and Hogsmeade. The game seems to be going even further than that though, as the trailer shows off exploring dungeons, sprawling caves, fighting creatures in forests and flying around open fields, and capping it off with what appears to be a dragon fight as well.

We’re excitedly looking forward to more details being revealed as we get closer to release, and I’m sure they’ll give us even more to get excited over as we creep closer to that release date of “2021”.
